Troubled by recurring bad thoughts... An internal dialog of, “Could ‘a, Would ‘a, Should ‘a …; I could have said, I would have said, I should have said …”. Too late, the opportunity is long past, but in the mind, like the proverbial bad penny, the thought keeps recurring. Realizing that these thought forms may be causing problems by living ‘rent free’ in your mind, a solution is offered. Imagine a pot on the back burner of a stove (Add no water or heat, don’t want to be cruel)! A lid may be imagined (helps to keep the critters contained).
Now, every time an unwanted thought-form threatens to impinge on your consciousness, mentally say, “I didn’t let you out, get back in the pot”!
Beats cutting yourself with a razor, or snapping a rubber band on your wrist (If you’ve ever read Aleister Crowley, or tried to quit smoking).
